How can I effectively remove a water stain from my ceiling?

Water from bathroom above the living look leaked on to my living room below creating a water stain on the drywall seam of the popcorn ceiling. The leak has since been fixed and I sprayed two layers of Kilz Upshot on the stain, which is around 1" wide by around 3' long. Subsequently, I rolled on two coats of white latex on the whole ceiling. The stain is now not visible in daylight if you stand underneath it. However, at an angle during daytime a light shadow is visible. At night, when the floor lamp is on, you can clearly see the area where the kilz was sprayed. An associate at a home improvement store has suggested I use a Behr sealer again on this area only and then apply another coat of latex on the affected area. Will this work ? Any suggestions would be welcome.

How does a nursing mom catch up on her sleep if she is up with the baby (8 1/2monthsold) about 12 times?

I can't bleach my black euro next Remy human hair extensions? help appreciated!?

So, today I tried to bleach my hair extensions with very little effect. I used a basic white bleach with 30 volume creme developer. I applied it on my extensions and I waited half an hour and every so often during that half an hour I would check if the bleach was working. However; to my dismay, it did no effect whatsoever! Joining the military with narcolepsy?

I decided that I wanted to be a marine. After being diagnosed with narcolepsy, I realized the very real possibility of being disqualified. I took a daytime wakefulness test with my medication and passed so I could drive etc. This test proves my ability to remain awake just the same as the next guy. These are dogs, not human children. They are behaving normally. I know you feel sad for Remy, but try to understand that in the canine world, Remy accepts this as the way things are (one dog always dominates another, and dogs would not like it if you interfered with the doggy hierarchy--they don't mind if they are not the dominant one, they just want to know what their place is). Should I be more concerned about my dog being around my dad's dogs?

My dad has a 13 y o german shepherd (Chief), a 13 y o lab (Remy) and an 8 month old yorkie (Teddy). My dog is a 7.4 lb Pom/chi and her and Teddy are best friends, so I take her with me whenever I go, usually from early Saturday to late Sunday and maybe another day or two. The big dogs have been ok with her so far (her and Teddy even gang up on them and steal their toys and treats) , but Chief is going deaf and Remy is in increasing pain from hip dysplasia, and is being tested currently for kidney failure, which they think he has. I know dogs get more irritable from pain and illness, and jumpier when they go deaf, and one snap from them could be pretty catastrophic. I always supervise closely the entire time, but should I start keeping her totally away from them?

I used to be able to remember what day I was on, but I can't seem to do so anymore without looking at the calendar. I can't tell the difference between Saturday and Wednesday; Tuesday or Friday. My recruiter wants me to join Air Force DEP early? PLEASE READ?

Ok, I am in the summer before my senior year right now (17 years old) and for the past year and a half I have wanted to join the air force. Originally the Air Force Academy, but due to the low acceptance rate I am basing my decision on getting denied from that. So I have decided to enlist if I get declined and therefore been preparing. I took the ASVAB test a couple days ago and scored an 82 (High School GPA is 3.5 FYI). I want to go into Operations Intelligence (1N0X1). Now my recruiter has been calling me to come in and give him all the documents to sign me up for MEPS and then move into the Softbook Program until September and then move right into DEP 8 months before I would want to ship out! What I would prefer to do is wait to go to MEPS and move into DEP around November so I can be positive that this is what I want to do and that will still give me 6 months in the DEP program to try and receive a spot for my job. My question is do I really need to join DEP this early and what are the advantages?

Family problems... that I have tried fixing, believe me, what do I do?

My mother is needy, lonely, and emotionally abusive. I think she has some sort of mental problem from getting emotionally abused most of her life (by her own mother) and from getting physically abused by two of her lovers. One of them was my father (they are divorced now and have been for about 8 years, but they were together for about 15 years) and the other one banged her head against a door jam and it may have done damage to her brain, the reason why he did this was because she told him that she thought he was cheating on her. It was quite obvious that he was though, because he dropped hints all the time and even I noticed it. The men that were physically abusive are long gone out of her life now though. The problem right now is, she is still talking to her emotionally abusive family. She almost has to because we are running out of money and she owes a lot to credit cards, and she's also trying to get her taxes done for my big sister's college tuition money so she can complete college and become a Biology teacher. The reason why she has to keep in touch with this abusive family is because her mother is dying from cancer, and she has put my mother on a trust. She is also giving most of the money to my mother's brothers, who are well on their feet and do not need the money like we do. My mother also can't get a job easily because she is older (54 years old) and we live in the country in the middle of nowhere and can't afford to drive far away to work. She is trying out this internet business thing, and she also just recently patented two inventions that may become very popular. The thing is, I will be going off to college in 2 years. I used to want to go to college in North Carolina or South Carolina. She wanted to come with me. But now I have made my final decision and want to go college in Masssachusetts. I have told her where I want to go and now she wants to follow me there too. But I don't want her to follow me, I want space. Because from getting abused most of her life, she is also abusive. And she also has a pretty bad Bipolar disorder, which she denies having and refuses to see a therapist or go on medication to help it. But she has been emotionally abusing me ever since my sister moved out to go to college. But when my sister was living here, it was her that she was emotionally abusing and buttering me up. But now it's the opposite. She favors my sister and acts like she misses her so much and acts like I'm a piece of ****. She has called me a ***** much more than I can count. I have done nothing wrong to her, and neither one of me or my sister deserves this. But she wants to live with both of us, and neither of us want that. Another thing is, she has said that she feels crazy. She says a lot of times she doesn't want to do anything at all, and sometimes she says she feels like killing people (literally). Sometimes she says she wants to be put in a mental home. What do I do? She refuses to go see a therapist/take medication. I think she has a mild case of scizophrenia. Because she sometimes thinks that me and my sister are trying to make her go homeless or "fail" when the only thing we are trying to do is get away from her. What to do when dad has watched me undress?

So Im a pretty smart person at reading people and their body language and all.. and I got the hint that my brother was watching my change and undress in my room when I was 14 through the cracks of my door. I was of course right. Then when I was 16, I didnt go to school one day and it was just me and my dad home. I'm trying to figure out what my next step should be in this situation. A young 13 year old is living in terrible conditions, I mean sleeping on the floor, house filthy, no working bathroom, goes hungry most of the time etc his mom doesn't work and has another boy who is 4 and spends a few days a week with them there too - the dad of the older boy has never been in the picture. The house belongs to the grandmother who has been for years trying to keep the older boy protected from his mom but now it's not working anymore. The mom is verbally abusive and the kid even though he used to be a sweet kid has now a lot of built up anger and is starting to become violent and abuse both the mom and the grandmother verbally and physically - he also coerces her out of money. We have been trying to help but it's not easy and we're getting desperate... I think it's time to alert some authority, I thought CPS but I don't know if that's the right people to call given the situation... I have a 6 month old baby boy and he absolutely hates to sleep in his cot so he always ends up coming to our bed ( I know I know! all the risks etc etc - and I have made it safe for him as possible but this arrangement still makes me a bit nervous). But if we put him in the cot none of us will get any sleep - including the baby. He sleeps like an angel in our bed!..So I'm thinking of getting him one of those single beds with 2 railings ( and a firm mattress). This way he will still be close to me at night and also get a good nights sleep ( during daytime hes in a playpen - and even sleeps there). Should I tell my psychiatrist that I've been doing Percocet once a week for a year now?

Every Saturday I take two 5mg percocets to get high. I don't believe it's a problem and I am certainly not addicted. I mean seriously... Once a week is no harm! I have been doing for about 10 months now and I am extremely disciplined in my consumption. I know too much about the drug and its addictive properties. Caution and strong control is my priority. No tolerance has been built or anything. I get the same feeling every time I do 10 mgs. I do it because it gives me energy (oddly) and it eliminates my anxiety. Also, it's an amazing investment considering my financial stability. I live with my parents which earn less than 30,000 a year altogether. I rather spend 5 dollars for 8 hours of joy than 20 dollars to watch a movie and eat somewhere (way more if I go out on a date). So yea, my real question is if disclosing this information would jeopardize my ability to obtain ADHD medication? I think I might have ADHD because i've been having a hard time focusing, concentrating, and memorizing stuff. I also think i suffer from excessive daytime sleepiness.I am 18 years old and I've been experiencing these symptoms since i was like 13. I have already been in a car (not my fault but totally avoidable) accident due to drowsiness. I'm taking action now because I'll be starting school (University) in less than 2 months. First off don't go wild and crazy because that is not as cool as it appears to be. I have been shy most of my life and I'm coming out of my shell. You have you to take small steps. Why Is My Horse Rubbing Her Tail?

Is my hamster part mouse?

He is white with a cream mask around his face. He looks like a hamster, but a little like a mouse or a gerbil. I didn't think anything of it when I bought him. I have a home loan modification with Bank of America under review for 1 year and 6 months now. I've been on a trial period since then. Up to this date, they have not given me any response as to getting approved or denied. You can buy some herbal things which contain ingredients such as Valerian which you could have a try, but make sure you have a chat with your doctor or pharmacist first to check they are suitable. i got my baby ;leopard gecko a few days ago. right when it got here it ate 2 mealworms straight away then didnt want anymore. it didnt eat its crickets either and i am really worried becuz its only eaten those 2 mealworms since i got it (i think it was thursday). but when i came home today it was whitish and i can tell its almost ready to shed and i heard that they dont like to eat before they shed so is that why it wasnt eating? the temperature is about 85 daytime and 75 nighttime and the humidity is about 60-70% in the cage right now and it has a moist hide to go in. so after it sheds then will it eat most likely?

My dad's a well-intentioned guy - but he doesn't always check his sources when it's something that lines up with his ideology. He recently told me that the FCC is considering letting profanity have free reign on TV, where even the strongest curse words can be broadcast during daytime "family viewing" hours. How do theists deny evolution?

...when natural selection is exactly what happens with your religions. Religions started off barbaric because that is how humans were. As people got smarter and could start explaining the natural world, religions died. Poseidon is useless because we know the moon controls the tides. now, that all these questions about the natural world have been answered, religion has evolved and survived to answer the only questions we have left, which are, where did we come from, and where do we go after we die. Seems pretty convenient that the most predominate religions have a "perfect" answer to these questions.

Fairly sure I have Avoidant Personality Disorder - can I still be helped?

Unfortunately, when I read through the DSM-IV's diagnositc criteria for this disorder, every single one of them practically defines me. I've also researched a bit further into the matter, well outside of textbook definitions. I'll still talk to my psychiatrist to see if I'm right. The problem I'm having now is that this feels like a death sentence. Can I still be helped? Can I recover? Even if I don't have Avoidant PD, I still have very strong features of it, there is no denying that.

1997 ford probe day time running lights?

I took my 1997 Ford Probe for a vehicle inspection and was told my day time running lights don't work. Apparently the headlights are supposed to flip up like as if I had them on. I think the guy is wrong and the little strip lights under the headlights are supposed to be daytime running lights. I have had the Probe for 6 years and they never did flip up during the daytime. What if you're just too lazy to follow any religion?

I come from a Muslim family, and I'm 15 y/o. I'm not really sure what I believe in though, and frankly, I'm just too lazy to delve into a search to find that out. I like knowledge and seeking it, but pertaining to the subject of my religion, I'm really not that interested. I like delving into spiritual journeys but not necessarily religious ones. What group does that make me apart of then? I'm not technically an atheist (I think) because I don't deny all deities. But I'm not part of any religion because I'm not sure if there is a god or higher divine power so I won't go and proclaim there is one. Plus, I don't feel like following a specific religious dogma.. I don't know if there is a god; I don't know if there isn't one, and, like I said above, I'm pretty lazy to find out (lol).

I broke this guys heart... I feel horrible, what should I do?

It's a long story and all, but I guess it all started when I told this guy I wasn't happy with our relationship. We had been going on and off for months now, fighting a lot and then making up some now and then. so i had this dream that went on forever. it started out with me at someone's party, in a house i've never been in, with people i don't know. then i met this beautiful girl and started talking to her, and she said that i'd need her help soon or something. so i got her number and went outside for some reason and ended up walking around in a strange town i just cant describe because it was so weird looking. i get lost and try to find my way back, but it seems as though the area keeps changing and i can't go back to one place. i tried to call the girl i just met but when i pull up her number on my phone it deletes itself. so i keep trying to find her and run into some thugs who chase me down. i run in a fountain to hide, and i look down and see the water turned into knee-deep embers and my legs catch fire. i try to put them out but my whole body catches fire. then suddenly i jumped and started flying, putting out the flames. i flew for what seemed like hours to a new city in the daytime and my flight powers stop working, as i fall to what seems like my death. i survive the fall and find my car sitting in an empty parking lot. so i departed for home, and along the highway, i run into a police barricade. a complete ogre of a cop that made michael clark duncan look like a puppy dog comes out and threatens to kill me if i have weed in the car. i didnt. but he said he had weed planted at my house and if they get to it before i get rid of it, i'll be burned alive. i dont remember anything else, just a frantic race home, and some good guy cop trying to protect me from the arriving cops at the bad one's command. what is the meaning of this nonsense?
