Leopard gecko question?

i got my baby ;leopard gecko a few days ago. right when it got here it ate 2 mealworms straight away then didnt want anymore. it didnt eat its crickets either and i am really worried becuz its only eaten those 2 mealworms since i got it (i think it was thursday). but when i came home today it was whitish and i can tell its almost ready to shed and i heard that they dont like to eat before they shed so is that why it wasnt eating? the temperature is about 85 daytime and 75 nighttime and the humidity is about 60-70% in the cage right now and it has a moist hide to go in. so after it sheds then will it eat most likely?
